About Us
Korudağ Olive Farm is an agricultural center established in the Çandarlı Bay-Zeytindağ settlement of İzmir, operating in the field of olive cultivation and olive oil production.
Olive saplings, specially produced for our farm using vegetative propagation, were planted after extensive research to suit our region's geographical conditions. Our farm, designed in accordance with modern agricultural practices and with approximately 100 kilometers of drip irrigation lines installed based on evaporation calculations, utilizes automated irrigation and fertilization systems for all irrigation and fertilization processes.
Our agricultural engineers conduct daily observational inspections of our new planting areas and mature productive trees. This allows us to identify potential problems early and implement professional interventions. Daily data from pH meters and tensiometers placed throughout our farm analyzes soil moisture and salinity to determine plant needs and create regular irrigation and fertilization schedules tailored to our plants' needs. In addition to these daily analyses, we also conduct regular soil and water analyses by accredited organizations. Our farm utilizes a full range of modern agricultural machinery for tilling the soil.
Olive oil is produced using innovative production techniques under hygienic conditions within an area of approximately 10,000 m² located on the hill overlooking our farm. Olive oil is produced using the cold-pressing method using the SPI 111 S model, a two-phase, environmentally friendly continuous system from Italian company Pieralisi, a leading company in olive oil production machinery. The olive oils produced in our facility are transferred to chrome resting tanks located in the air-conditioning area of our facility before fermentation. To preserve their freshness, nitrogen gas is added to prevent contact with air. After resting for a period under suitable conditions, they are packaged in our filling units and served to the table.
